Doctor Harold H. Cadwell, Jr. was born in Detroit, Michigan to Harold and Faye Cadwell. Raised in a Christian home, Dr. Cadwell’s life revolved around church. He developed a love for the House of God as a young boy and began serving in ministry at a very young age. Dr. Cadwell was licensed in the Gospel Ministry on January 24, 1988 and was ordained as a minister on January 13, 1991 at the Union Grace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Major E. Smith. He united with the New Providence Baptist Church of Detroit, under the exemplary visionary leadership of Dr. Everett N. Jennings, Sr., where he received formative ministry training. On January 1, 2016, Dr. Cadwell and just over 100 dedicated members launched the Transformation Christian Church. TCC is a ministry birthed out of the Vision given to Dr. Cadwell and strives to “Renew Minds and Transform Lives” through the proclamation and practical application of the Word of God. Dr. Cadwell’s greatest desire is to reach men and women with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead them through a process of discipleship which will cause them to realize their true identity and maximize their spiritual potential in Jesus Christ. In his quest to sharpen his acumen to be fit for Kingdom work, Dr. Cadwell received his Doctor of Ministry from Ecumenical Theological Seminary on November 18, 2025. A devout family man, Dr. Cadwell is happily married to Angela Cadwell, and they are the proud parents of seven children.
